PURPOSE:To accurately recognize the time up to the completion of the formation of an image by obtaining and displaying the time required for completing the formation of the image from the number of the forming times of the image for each original, the number of the originals and an image forming time per sheet. CONSTITUTION:When plural originals are copied by plural sheets by a user, the number of the originals is checked and then, an original number setting button 24 is depressed so that a numeric displayed on a display part 25 becomes the number of the originals. The number of copying times for one original is set by the depressing of ten keys 23. The incorporated microcomputer recognizes the number of the originals and the number of the copies for each original and simultaneously, obtains the time required for a copy based on the size of a paper sheet used and magnification, to calculate the time required for completing the copy based on a correction value obtained by considering the obtained time, other waiting times, etc., etc. On the display part 25, first, the time required for completing the copy is displayed and then, the required time corresponding to the left number of the copying times is successively displayed, whenever the left number of the copying times is changed. |
