PURPOSE:To obtain measuring equipment for acoustic velocity of ultrasonic wave which make it possible to accurately measure the critical angle by electronic scanning and measure a slight change in the acoustic velocity of the ultrasonic wave due to deterioration and damage of materials accompanying operations of apparatuses, such as plastic deformation, creep, fatigue and temper brittleness, and a residual stress even in the site of installation of equipment. CONSTITUTION:This equipment comprises an ultrasonic vibrator group 12 for transmission, a propagation medium L, an ultrasonic vibrator group 13 for reception, a multichannel pulser, a multichannel receiver, a delay time controller, a multichannel A/D converter, a delay adder and a computer. |
