PURPOSE:To provide an electronic clock invariably displaying the correct present time at each city without requiring a correction in switching to the summer time. CONSTITUTION:This electronic clock is provided with an individual city summer time information memory means 111 for storing the information on the starting day and the ending day of the summer time at an individual city, a summer time period comparing means 107 comparing the time calculated by an individual city present time calculating means 106 with the summer time information stored in the individual city summer time information memory means 111 and judging whether the summer time is in effect or not, a time correcting means 108 correcting the time when the summer time period comparing means 107 judges that the summer time is in effect, and a display means 109 displaying the corrected time. The time is automatically corrected for the switching to the summer time. |
