PURPOSE:To provide the medical image preservation and communication system for easily setting and changing the distribution destination of image data corresponding to changes in the operating conditions of the system. CONSTITUTION:A medical image preservation and communication system 1 is connected through networks 3a and 3b to modalities 2a and 2b. This system 1 is provided with plural FS 4a and 4b for image data preservation, plural reading WS 5a-5c for displaying image data, automatic distribution controller 6 for controlling the distribution of image data or the like, and terminal 7 for control to perform the indication for distribution control. Then, the respective devices inside the system 1 are connected through a network 8. Among these devices, the automatic distribution controller 6 is functionally provided with an image managing information reception part 14, inspection request information reception part 15, distribution control part 16 and distribution setting control part 17 for registering a distribution destination table 18. Further, an RIS 9 outside the system 1 is connected to the network 8 as well. |
