<p>A device for filling a ditch in the sea bed to cover a pipe placed therein, including two nozzle assemblies (6, 7) closely spaced from the sea bed on either side of a trench (1) dug therein. The nozzles are pointed at the sea bed and said trench and supplied with pressurised water to be directed continuously into the sea bed on either side of the trench to move material from the sea bed into the trench as the device travels therealong, and thereby at least partially fill said trench. A guide assembly (14) is provided for channeling the flows created by the nozzles (6, 7).</p> |
