Power actuator (18) seen in the figure for combination with door latch and lock mechanism (12) of a vehicle having a central locking system includes linkage acting between a manually operable locking lever (54) for a sill buttom (16) or the like and a motor driven actuating lever (30) operating the lock mechanism, the linkage including a floating drive pin (62) engaged in a lateral slot (52) of a longitudinally sliding link (46) and engaged in a guide slot (60) of an overlying part of said manual locking lever shaped to provide a lost motion portion radially of the latter lever axis so that when the pin is in said portion movement of the manual lever is not transmitted to the link; a superlocking lever (64) selectively powered by a superlocking motor (66) having a third slot (70) engaged with the pin to shift the latter into and out of said lost motion portion for drive connection and disconnection of the manual lever with the linkage.
