This invention relates to an optically active compound of flubrocythrinate with formula (I), a process for preparing the same, and an insecticidal and acaricidal composition containing the same and its use. The insecticidal and acaricidal activity of this optically active compound is evidently superior to that of the mixed-racemic compound.
