Procedure for attaching a banner to a mast

The procedure uses a double-hooked support (2,4) on the mast, designed to receive a bar (5) connected by ties (6) to a rod (3) passing through the upper edge of the banner (1). The bar is placed in the support with the aid of a pole (10) which has a semi-cylindrical cradle (11) on its upper end for the bar. In a variant the banner can have a second bar connected to its bottom rod and made to engage with a second double-hooked support facing in the opposite direction. In another variant the banner's upper rod can be connected to a single central ring which is placed over a hook on the mast by a pole with a hook on its upper end.
