The procedure consists of placing a ball of dry earth (2) inside a heat-resistant glass sphere (1) either 44 or 104 cm in diameter, with the earth ball being between a third and half the diameter of the sphere and located at its centre. The glass sphere is then heated by a flame (3) preferably blue in colour, from a torch (4) to produce vapours and/or smoke inside the glass sphere. These are allowed to dissipate before collecting the material from inside the sphere to make medicinal products by boiling the composition and decomposition. The heating process, with the flame either kept still or moved gradually towards and away from the glass sphere, is carried out in a darkened room, lit only by a single low-powered light bulb (9) mounted on the ceiling (10) which is light-coloured and has an irregular surface. The procedure is designed to reproduce the processes which took place on the Earth during its early stages of development, with the light bulb representing the moon.
