The laundry drying appliance, using microwave heating energy, has a housing of a non-magnetic metal, forced ventilation and a laundry basket of a dielectric material on a turntable. It has a screening system and a thermal probe coupled to a thermostatic breaker to control the microwave emissions. A twin-blade circuit breaker is integrated with the magnetron, and the microwaves are channelled to the laundry area. The appliance has a programmed clock. |
