PURPOSE:To improve the processing capability of the entire network in the wavelength multiplex communication network. CONSTITUTION:Plural nodes are coupled with a loop optical transmission line (100) for wavelength multiplex transmission and a marker signal transmission node (110) to which a wavelength lambda1-lambdam) specific to each node is allocated and sending a marker signal with a wavelength allocated to all nodes is connected to an optical transmission line, each node other than a marker signal transmission node has a control means, and the control means is provided with a means receiving only an optical signal of a wavelength allocated to a concerned station as reception data from the optical transmission line and with a means sending transmission data addressed to other node from the concerned station in a wavelength of a destination node in succession to a marker of the destination node to the optical transmission line. |
