Guide assemblies for press tools

The guide assembly (1) is made up of a column (10) and a coaxial sleeve (40), one of the elements being mobile in a linear forward and return repetitive motion in relation to the other fixed element. It is characterised that it contains also needle rollers (30) which are disposed to roll between the column and the sleeve. These latter containing each one flat rolling faces of an equal number disposed face to face, one to the other at a distance closely equal to the diameter of the needle rollers (30). The number of flat rolling faces is equal to four with them disposed in the form of a square. The rollers circulate in a closed circuit defined by the sleeve and by two scraper rings (20,20') placed at each end of the sleeve.
