Piston pump with plunger piston

The piston pump has a piston (10) which comprises a plunger (12) and plunger head (14) located on the plunger and connected to an oscillating drive. The plunger and head are connected together via elastic members such that the plunger head can move in a predetermined manner relative to the plunger. The plunger has a projection (16) which fits into a recess (18) in the head. An elastic adhesive is placed in between projection and recess, and an elastic plastics material is inserted in between the front face of the projection and recess.
