The yieldable sheet compound is destined to be put into a form around a given direction (D). The compound (10,10') comprises a sheet (11) made of flexible material on which is stuck at least a sheet (12,12') of wood. The sheet of wood (12,12') is unwound in the direction of the fibres (121,121') made up in the direction (D) of the form. Preferably a sheet (12,12') of unwound wood is stuck on each face of the sheet (11) of flexible material, the direction of the fibres (121,121') of the sheets (12,12') of wood being parallel to the direction (D) of the form.
