摘要 The controllable thermionic electron emitter has an emitting layer (3) and a control layer (5) separated from the former by an insulating layer (4). Both the insulating and control layers are manufactured by a depositing process. All the functional elements of the emitter, in particular, the above layers, are deposited in sequence on a substrate (1) and are glued to each other by rigid boundary layers. There are at least two control layers. One is an electrically conducting grid structure. There are two separate heating layers. The emitter and/or control layers are divided into electrically separate regions. The substrate has a heating element, with an insulating layer if necessary.
