<p>An in-line wheeled skate includes a boot (12), a chassis (14) attached beneath the boot, a plurality of wheels (16,16a,16b,16c) mounted thereupon and arranged in tandem, and a toe stop. The toe stop (20) is fixedly mounted at the front (22) of the chassis and defines a toe stop surface (46) having a first, upper portion (50) positioned relative to a chassis axis for engagement with a travel surface during movement to brake or slow motion of a skater and a second, lower portion (52) positioned relative to the chassis axis for engagement with a travel surface during movement to impart push-off motion to a skater. <IMAGE></p> |
