<p>A pneumatic tyre has a tread part with two wide circumferential grooves (71,72) each having a width GW of 35 mm or more and extending in either side of the tyre's equator (CL) so as to divide the tread part into a pair of shoulder parts (81,82) and a central part (9). The central part (9) has a surface utilising successive convex curves of a pair of inner groove walls (7b) and a central ground-contacting surface (9). When the tyre is mounted on a regular rim, inflated to regular internal pressure and has its normal load applied, the widths SW1, SW2 of shoulder ground-contacting areas Fs1, Fs2 where the shoulder parts contact with the ground are different to each other. <IMAGE></p> |
