<p>PURPOSE:To rotate a drum rolled with a flexible long material such as a cable or hose, etc., in both rewinding and winding directions with the travel of a carriage without using any special power source. CONSTITUTION:A rotation of an axle 7 of a carriage 1 is made so as to be transmitted to a long material winding drum 5 mounted on this carriage free of rotation, and a torque unit 3 adopted with a torque regulating mechanism, which slips if reaching to more than the specified torque, is installed in its rotation transmitting mechanism, while the drum 5 is rotated speedier than a carriage advancing velocity at the time of winding, and at the time of rewinding, the rotation transmitting mechanism is adjusted so as to rotate this drum 5 slower than the carriage advancing velocity, respectively.</p> |
