PURPOSE:To obtain a new tetrahydrofuran derivative useful as an agrochemical, especially an insecticide. CONSTITUTION:This tetrahydrofuran derivative is expressed by formula I [R1 is H, a 1-5C alkyl, a 2-5C alkenyl, a (substituted) benzyl, etc.; R2 is H, a 1-5C alkyl or a (substituted) benzyl], e.g. 1-{(tetrahydro-3-furanyl) methyl}-2-(nitroimino)-5-methylhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine. The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a compound of formula II with an amine of formula R2NH2 in the presence of formaldehyde (formalin). |
