PURPOSE:To provide a mold for continuous casting formed with close film having excellent characteristics of thermal shock resistance, resistance of crack caused by the invasion of zinc and high temp. wear resistance on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The mold for continuous casting coated with an alloy composed of 0.5-0.7% C, 5-10% Ni, 10-25% Cr, 3-8% W, 2-4% Ta, and the balance Co with impurities in 50-900mum thickness on the surface of copper or copper alloy is manufactured by applying a plasma thermal-spraying under 10-100Torr vacuum degree at 60-900 deg.C base material temp. |
