PURPOSE:To obtain a material having a light weight, a high mechanical strength, an excellent durability, thermal resistance, and impact resistance, useful for a bumper, a tank, etc., composed of pellets of specific fiber composite comprised by a thermoplastic resin for a fiber composite and glass fibers, and a thermoplastic resin in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:This material is composed of a mixture of (A) 5-70(wt.)pt. of pellets of a fiber composite having a pellet length of 2-20mm and the glass fiber length which is equal to the pellet length, composed of 20-70(wt.)% of a thermoplastic resin for a fiber composite (preferably a propylene homopolymer, or a propylene-ethylene copolymer containing 1-10wt.% of an acid modified polyolefin having an added acid amount of 0.1-10wt.%) and 80-30% of a glass fiber, and (B) 95-30 pt. of a thermoplastic resin [preferably, a propylene homopolymer or a propylene-ethylene copolymer having a melt index (230 deg.C, 2.16kgf) of 3-20g/10min.]. |
