PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer having good bondability to various substrates made of organic or inorganic materials by grafting a specified graftable compound onto a tetrafluoroethylene/ethylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:This polymer is one prepared by grafting a graftable compound having a bonding group enabling grafting and a functional group imparting adhesiveness onto a tetrafluoro-ethylene/ethylene copolymer (ETFE). In the graftable compound, it is preferable that the bonding group is an organic group terminated with an alpha, beta-unsaturated double bond, a peroxy group or an amino group and that the functional group imparting adhesiveness is a carboxyl group, a carboxylic anhydride group, an epoxy group or a hydrolyzable silyl group. This polymer is obtained by melt-blending ETFE with the graftable compound and a radical generator. |
