PURPOSE:To manufacture a door weatherstrip having excellent sealing ability over its whole periphery with productivity kept excellent and without injuring design ability. CONSTITUTION:A door weatherstrip has an attaching base part 1 held by a door body sash part and a seal part 3 extending from the attaching base part 1 toward a seal, and a corner formed part is extruded in one body with a straight formed part, and a door closing load reducing recess stripe 4 is formed in the base part on an indoor side of the seal part 3. In the case where the recess stripe 4 is formed on one or both sides of the seal part 3 by abuttedly giving the form of a grooved member 29 before valcanization in unitedly extruding the stripe 4, in the corner formed part where excessively large deformation caused by bending is expected, the grooved member 29 is intermittently separated to discontinue the formation of the recess stripe 4. |
