<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a specified spherical nucleus, a spherical granule produced from the spherical nucleus and to provide their production method. CONSTITUTION:This spherical nucleus is pharmaceutically inactive and contains crystalline cellulose of 60 to 375 average polymerization degree in an amount of >=50%. The spherical granule is produced by initially producing the spherical nucleus, allowing the nucleus to flow, applying a medicine to the surface of the nucleus while spraying a binder and further applying a film coating thereto. Since the spherical nucleus has a higher water abosorptivity and a lower abrasion loss in comparison with the conventional spherical nucleus composed mainly of white sugar, the granules are reduced in tendency of mutual aggregation and excellent in coating efficiency. Further, the medicine can be eluted at a constant rate over a long period in comparison with the conventional spherical granule produced from the conventional nuclei.</p> |
