PURPOSE:To provide a brake control device which can eliminate a feeling of operating a pedal board and secure braking force during failures, while simplifying a system. CONSTITUTION:In a system with a supply pressure cutting valve (f), a pilot pressure cutting valve (g) which, when pressure supplied from an external hydraulic pressure source (c) is lowered below a normal value, interrupts an oil passage leading from a master cylinder (a) to pilot pins b1, f1, is provided, and the spring b3, f3 of at least either an electronic hydraulic pressure control valve (b) or the supply pressure cutting valve (f) is a nonlinear spring whose displacement ratio decreases with load increase, and the pressure receiving area of each pilot pin b1, f1 is set large. In the case of a system that does not have a supply pressure cutting valve (f), the spring b3 of the electronic hydraulic pressure control valve 8b is a nonlinear spring whose displacement ratio decreases with load increase, and the pressure receiving area of the pilot pin b1 is set large. |
