PURPOSE:To provide a beauty diagnostic device capable of reliably measuring body fat to perform a beauty diagnosis even when a detecting part is changed with the lapse of time or secularly changed, the temperature is fluctuated, or the transmitting characteristic of the detecting part is dispersed at initial regulation and maintenance. CONSTITUTION:A calibrating circuit CAB is formed between a measuring probe PB, and an AC voltage generator and arithmetic processing part, and the calibrating circuit CAB has interlocking switches SW1-SW1 in which one of two dummy resistors R1, R2 is connected between electrodes for applied voltage P1, P2, both ends of the other resistor are connected to conductivity detecting electrodes P3, P4, and the common contact part is connected to the AC voltage generator and arithmetic processing part, and also a switch SW5 for switching the dummy resistors R1, R2. The switches SW1-SW4 are switched according to a prescribed sequence of the arithmetic processing part to preliminarily measure the transmitting characteristic of the calibrating circuit CAB itself prior to a human body impedance measurement. |
