<p>The cover is particularly designed for outdoor bathing pools which can benefit from intake of solar energy for heating. The lower film in the structure is used to absorb the heat and is made of e.g. metal or plastic. The thermally insulating lower film layer is transparent and comprises a plastic layer incorporating hollow chambers. The complete cover is made sufficiently elastic to enable it to be rolled up when not in use. The absorbing film is blackened or can be selective in its absorption behaviour. By using solar energy, the cost of heating an outdoor swimming pool is kept at a minimum.</p> |
