<p>PURPOSE:To provide a document feed device in which noise is dissolved by controlling the operation so as to avoid frequent drive of a document presser means. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a document S loaded on a document loading tray 1 is detected with a paper thickness detecting sensor 22, and when a microcomputer judges the document S to be thin paper, a driving means (solenoid) driving a document presser plate 4 is operated until completion of carrying the document.</p> |
