PURPOSE:To obtain a kitchen detergent not causative of chapping and full of a feel in use and a feel of safety, by selectively blending a specific anionic surfactant with a specific cationic surfactant and a specific nonionic surfactant at specific proportions. CONSTITUTION:An anionic surfactant (A) selected from among salts of alkyl sulfates of the formula, R-(OCH2CH2)n SO<3>M and salts of alkyl-ether-carboxylic acids of the formula, R-(OCH2CH2)nOCH2COOM (wherein R is linear alkyl, provided that at least 90% thereof is 12C alkyl; M is Na; and n is 3 to 5) is blended with a surfactant (B) selected from among lauryldimethylamine oxide, diethanol-laurylamide and coconut fatty acid amide propylbetaine, and a nonionic surfactant (C) prepd. by mixing an ethoxylate of a linear higher primary alcohol-ethylene oxide adduct (wherein at least 90% of the linear alkyls are 12C alkyls, and the average no. of moles of ethylene oxide added is 6 to 10) with an ethoxylate of a linear higher primary alcohol-ethylene oxide adduct (wherein at least 90% of the linear alkyls are 12C alkyls, and the average no. of moles of ethylene oxide added is 10 to 20) at a former to latter wt. ratio of 2/8 to 7/3, provided that the component (C) accounts for at least 40wt.% of the total of the components (A), (B), and (C), and the (A)+(B) content of the resulting detergent compsn. is 5 to 18wt.%. |
