In this article is described the pharmaceutical agent of 3-(hydroxymethyl)-5,5-diphenylhydrantoine-disodium phosphate ester, promedicine 5,5-diphenylhydantoine (phenytoine) frequently used as medicine for treatment and attending of epilepsy and other types of convulsive states. Degradation of promedicine to phenytoine can be regulated by treatment of preparation pH. Keeping pH in ratio 8,3 to 9,4 leads to origin of diphenylglycinamide as primary degradant and minimalizates the degradation to phenytoine. Pharmaceutical agent contains about 35 mg to 180 mg promedicine in ml solution and 0,05 to 0,2 M of buffer.
