A humidity exchanger medium is made by a method comprising, (i) laminating, impregnating with sodium silicate water glass and partially drying a flat sheet and a corrugated sheet, each comprising paper of inorganic fibres, (ii) forming a honeycomb matrix from at least one sheet, (iii) soaking the matrix in an acid soln. contg. a titanium inorganic salt so as to form a Ti-contg. silicate hydrogel, and (iv) washing and drying the matrix to form a Ti-contg. silicate aerogel. |
