<p>PURPOSE:To prevent collapse of a bundle of paper sheets in a tray even if a paper feed tray receives an impact by providing a paper sheet presser mechanism pressing a paper sheet presser member against the uppermost paper sheet in the condition of releasing the paper feed tray from a device main body. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition in which a large capacity paper feed tray 8 is set to a device main body 1, the other end 42b of a release lever 42 is contacted with a release lever pressing pin 43 by a release mechanism 41, and the release lever 42 receives pressing force and rotationally moves against the energization force of a lever spring 44. Hereby, one end 42a of the release lever 42 pushes up a paper sheet presser lever 38 against the energization force of a spring 40, and the rubber 39 of a paper sheet presser part 36 is retreated from the uppermost paper sheet P. Meanwhile, under the condition in which the large capacity paper feed tray 8 is released against the device main body 1, the rubber 39 of the paper sheet presser member 36 is pressed against the uppermost paper sheet P by the energization force of the spring 40, and hence bundle of paper sheets P in the paper feed tray 8 is held without collapsing.</p> |
