White noise emitter esp. for detection and analysis of pulmonary noise

The emitter includes a casing (10) with a face of the casing (10) supporting the loudspeaker (22) having at least one tube (24) open at its two ends to join the inside and outside of the casing to produce a base reflex effect. The cone (33) lies in a housing (32) which can be removed from the loudspeaker casing. The cone and loudspeaker communicate so as to balance the pressures and either side of the loudspeaker membrane when the tube from the cone is connected to a respirator working above atmospheric pressure. The angle of the cone is pref. 40 degrees. It is welded at the apex to the housing which is filled with insulation.
