The moulding has a C-shaped decorative outer section (1) with shaped ends (123, 133, 134) which hold the inner section (2) in place. The inner section is shorter than the outer section and in cross section it shows two arms (21, 22) which are at right angles to each other, the end of each arm (211, 222) fits against the ends of the outer section. The inner section may be T-shaped and have one or more sliding channels (23, 24, 25) which form lengthwise openings (234, 244, 253). These are designed to take a device for fixing the moulding the substrate. One of the sliding channels (25) is created by two easily broken ribs (251, 252). There is also a lug (223) to hold the moulding in place. The moulding can be made of metal or extruded plastics.
