The invention relates, in an opto-electronic circuit including an electro-optical transmitter transmitting a light signal towards in opto-electronic receiver supplying an electrical output signal, to the compensation for the drift, especially thermal and/or time-based drift, introduced by the transmitter and/or the receiver on the output electrical signal of the receiver; in order to do this: there is associated, with the first receiver (R1), a second receiver (R2) simultaneously receiving the optical signal originating from the transmitter (E); a reference value (S2 ref) of the output signal of the second receiver (R2) is held in memory; the output signal (S2) of the second receiver and the reference (S2 ref) are continuously compared; an error or drift signal (d) is deduced therefrom; and the said error or drift signal is used to compensate the output signal (S1) of the first receiver (R1). <IMAGE> |
