An accelerator for a motorcycle comprises a manipulating knob (8) vertically provided in a handling rod (7) of steering wheel, a turning control member (6) rotatably secured to the rod via bearings (3). An accelerating wire (4) that is connected to a throttle valve is inserted into the control member (6) so that the rate of rotation is controlled by pressing down the knob (8) with the right forefinger and the right middle finger while the driver grips the handling rod. |
