The skates can be detached and interchanged on the boot or other footwear by fixed or movable devices. At least one fixing device is fixedly connected to the underneath of the boot. One or more parts of the fixing device can be made from different or similar materials. The devices supporting the skates can be connected by bores and bolts. The fixing devices can comprise one or more detachable fixed interengaging parts.
