The cover has a frame (1), provided at the rear with a peripheral bearing surface for housing of the headlamp unit and defining two openings (3,4), fitted with respective lamp glasses (5,6), their peripheral edges sealed in respective reception channels (78,8) provided in the front side of the frame. The rear bearing surface has a reception channel for the housing front edge, coinciding with the reception channels for the lamp glasses, around the outer periphery of each opening.
