PURPOSE:To perform an assured thin wire forming process without erasing the segment of the original picture against the sampled picture of a low resolution by inhibiting the replacement of the noticed black picture element with the white picture element when the peripheral black picture elements of the noticed black picture element from a triangular with the noticed black picture element used as the vertex. CONSTITUTION:The picture signals formed by the binary-coded picture signals send from the 1st level white and the 2nd level black are taken into shift register 3 in sequence by noticing the black picture elements at the boundary between the white and the black of the picture signal. And whether central picture element i1 is the point where it cannot be converted into the white picture element through ROM4 and via approximate points a1 - h1 against picture element i1 is decided, and signal K is delivered in case the conversion is impossible. Then the logic is secured through AND circuit 5 and 6 between picture elememt d1 and i1, and the picture which can be converted into the white picture element are removed through OR circuit 7 and then supplied to shift register 8. The same operation is given to central picture element i2 to deliver the picture elements to the output of OR circuit 12 after elimination of the picture elements which can be converted into the white picture element. |
