In the seat position the seat cushion is spaced from the backwall (29). The backrest incline comprises a hinged flap part (31). The backwall is connected to the flap part at the top end by a connector (32) and at the lower end by a spacer strip (33). The backwall, flap part and spacer strip form a triangular hollow cavity filled up by a folding wall (38). The folding wall defines the distance through which the flap projects over the seat cushion height into the structural depth of the seat cushion. The angle between the flap part and spacer strip corresponds to the incline angle (43) of the backrest cushion. The spacer strip is connected to the flap part by a hinge (34) and can be folded upwards. The spacer strip engages in a support bearing (35). The distance between the seat cushion and backwall can be produced by spacer members (36,37).
