Support for removable waste bins in kitchen units

An adaptor (20) can be mounted between the side walls (14,16) of the kitchen unit and the bin support (10). The adaptor can be fixedly connected to both the support and to the corresponding side wall. Where the support has openings (22,24) for the connectors such as screws which connect with the side walls the adaptor also has openings communicating with same. The adaptor can have several openings arranged in a pattern with their diameters matching the diameters of the screws.
