A METHOD TO CLOSE A PAPER SACK OR BAG BY SEWING, AND A BAG OR SACK CLOSED ACCORDING TO SAID METHOD

A method of sealing an open end of a paper sack or bag by bringing the sack or bag material together at the open end and sewing a seam over that, is described. The distinguishing feature is that the sack or bag material is folded over itself at the open end for the formation of double material all around the opening before said opening is sewn together. Moreover, a paper sack or bag which has at least one of the ends sealed with a seam, said sack or bag material being folded double all around the sack or bag opening and the seam binding at least two parts of the opening together, is disclosed.
