This invention relates to a two-layer foam/injection molding apparatus for molding a foamed molded article wherein a surface material comprising a foamed layer and a skin layer on the surface of the foamed layer is integrally laminated on a core material made of a rigid resin. The principal components of the apparatus include a fixed platen (2) to which a primary side mold (14) for molding a core material is fitted and which includes a primary side injection unit (10) for supplying the core material; a turning platen (3) which is disposed in such a manner as to be capable of being opened and closed with respect to the fixed platen (2) and can switch between a pair of a first mold (16) for the primary side mold (14) and a second mold (17) having the same shape as that of the first mold (16) and for a secondary side mold (15) for forming the surface material, by rotation; a movable platen (4) which is disposed in such a manner as to be capable of being opened and closed with respect to the turning platen (3), to which the secondary side mold (15) is fitted and which includes a secondary side injection unit (11) for supplying the surface material; first mold clamping means (24) for clamping the primary side mold (14) of the fixed platen (2) and the first or second mold (16 or 17) of the turning platen (3); second mold clamping means (25) for clamping the secondary side mold (15) of the movable platen (4) and the second or first mold (17 or 16) of the turning platen (3); and mold opening means (26) so disposed as to separate the movable platen (4) from the turning platen (3), for expanding the space between the second mold (17) and the secondary side mold (15) that are supported in such a manner that the molds can be opened.
