The screw connection for shank rod systems of looms, consists of an element functioning as a countersunk threaded nut and an element functioning as a countersunk screw. The nut (1) features a first cylindrical outer section (8) adjoining the sunk head (3) and a second adjacent cylindrical outer section (9) with a smaller outer dia than the first one. The surface of the first section (8) permits a friction-locking connection between itself and the inner end section of the conical definition of a rod system part. The screw features a spline bore which penetrates axially and can be engaged with a screw tool.
