<p>This valve is designed to equip a member containing a fluid (5), for example part of the cooling circuit such as water box or oil sump of a motor vehicle. It has a housing on which there are mounted: a seat (6); a shut-off element (7) capable of interacting with the seat (6); a thermostatic element (8) having a body (8a) integral with the shut-off member (7) and a push rod (8b) bearing against a limit stop (9 to 11) integral with the housing; and a compression spring (16) interposed between the shut-off member (7) and a rest (17) integral with the housing. According to the invention, the housing is a plastic component (1) simultaneously forming a valve seat (6), a fluid outlet connector (2) and a fastening flange (3) provided with holes (4). The part forming a valve seat (6) and the part forming a fastening flange (3) of the plastic component (1) are reinforced by a pressed steel sheet element (12). <IMAGE></p> |
