An antiskid control apparatus for part-time four wheels drive vehicle having means (SfCAL,SrCAL) for calculating an average front wheel speed and an a average rear wheel speed, means (SBTCAL) for calculating a speed difference between the average front wheel speed and the average rear wheel speed and means (FLTR) for smoothing the speed difference. Drive state decision means (JDG) decides the drive state of the vehicle based on the value of the smoothed speed difference. The antiskid control state of the vehicle is switched between an antiskid control for the 2WD and an antiskid control for the 4WD. <IMAGE>
