PURPOSE:To decrease the holding force of the fulcrum globe of an operating lever so as to enable swift operation by providing a holding means for holding a mirror such as not to be displaced against a mirror visor except in the normal position of the mirror visor. CONSTITUTION:When an operating lever 12 is operated to the left, a vertical rod 20 is rotated around a fulcrum globe and the connecting part with a horizontal rod 29 protruding from the lower end of the vertical rod 20 is displaced to the right. A converter arm 28 connected through a shaft 25 and a clutch member 30 is also rotated to the left from this displacement so that a mirror 1 is turned to the left. In such a door mirror, a cam surface 46 is protrusively provided on a cam plate 8 integratedly provided on the upper surface of a shaft cylinder 9. The other end of a supporting rod 47 having a globe pivot at the tip vibrationally supported at the rear face of a mirror holder is fitted into a holding body 49, and an inhibiting member 50, for inhibiting the vibration of this supporting rod, disposed with its one end facing the cam surface 46 is oscillatingly supported so as to form a required holding means. |
