PURPOSE:To obtain the subject gene useful for preparation of a disease resistant kind or elucidation of action of a plant hormone or physiology of a plant at germination, by elucidating a genetic code of beta-1,3-endoglucanase participating of induction of resistance reaction to pathogenic fungi of plant. CONSTITUTION:A soybean young plant of 4-5 days after seeding was treated with ethylene and a possibility of inducing beta-1,3-endoglucanase has been found. Then the beta-1,3-endoglucanase was collected and an isolation of cDNA corresponding to whole chain length of beta-1,3-endoglucanase expressed by the formula has been succeeded, then the base sequence has been elucidated. |
