PURPOSE:To replace a delay line in a real time so as not to make the occur rence, etc., of a noise due to the replacement noticed by a user when the delay line for delaying a musical tone is replaced. CONSTITUTION:A delay line location 349 is provided in a signal processor performing a voice program using the delay line. Further, a delay line management logic is provided for automatically clearing the memory without writing a (0) value when a delay line location 349 memory is cleared, and in the logic, an offset value showing a start position, etc., of a sub-set of a memory location assigned to the delay line and a delay line configuration register file storing the parameter of the delay line consisting of a count, etc., showing the number of variable memory locations in the sub-set are provided. When the delay line is cleared, for instance, the count of a prescribed delay line is set to (0), and a command for updating the delay line configuration register file is sent. |
