PURPOSE: To achieve a multilayer structural body which a large magnetoresistance effect with respect to a vertical measurement structure, without undesirably reducing absolute electric resistance value to be measured. CONSTITUTION: In a magnetoresistive device with a laminated structural body that has a substrate 1 and a multilayer structure body on the surface of the substrate 1, a plural channels that are parallel with one another are provided on the surface, each channel has a first surface 7 and a second surface 9, the first surfaces are nearly flat and parallel with one another, and in the configuration layer of the multilayer structural body, a laminate is provided on each first surface, so that it is in parallel with the first surface. Then, a thickness d1 of the laminate in a direction that is vertical with respect to the first surface is determined, so that each laminate makes a physical contacts with an adjacent laminate. |
